My 3D printing journey begins

"Wow. Okay, that's cool."

Those were words after watching with a tilted head my new 3d printer printing for the first time. I stayed still and stared for 30 minutes. Like a kid.

I'm new to the hobby, I don't have experience with 3d software (I have experimented with Blender and ZBrush in the past) and last week I decided to give 3d printing a try.

Equipment

Bambulab was all over my YouTube feed since the first time I googled "3d printers". Their Black Friday deal was also really good to pass on so I decided to go ahead and order the BambuLab P1S. Like I said, I'm not an expert so I had to do a lot of research.

Delivery was fast, and assembly took around 30 minutes. Most people say its 10-15 but since it was my first time, I really took the time to make sure everything was set up right.

Pairing with the Bambu handy app was super simple and after updating the firmware I was ready to go.

I was really impressed by the quality and unboxing experience. The attention to detail was second to none and the build quality impeccable!

First print

I had to try Benchy as my first print!

I mean look at that! I was blown away by how fast this was printed.

Next steps

I was too excited not to share my first experience but I might come back to this blog post with updates! For now I need to go and print something else.
